  2. Medical items like heart monitors, or other wireless medical devices also need WPC-ETA approval.
  3. Defence devices that are wireless like satellite communication devices, Wireless jamming devices, etc.
  4. Bluetooth headsets or other low-power devices
  5. Music player, wireless mouse or keyboard, and other wireless devices also need WPC-ETA approval.

What is the Process of WPC-ETA Approval?

  1. The initial step is checking EN standards and the frequency range in the RF test report. If the frequency range falls under the mandatory devices that work under the DE Licence then a self-declaration certificate is issued.

  3. You must fill online application on the Saral Sanchar portal to get login details. 
  4. Submit the payment online as specified in the form. 
  5. Later on, you have to submit the required documents to the WPC authority. You have to submit these documents online and offline. 
  6. WPC officials verify the documents and RF test reports and make sure that your documents have the right information and in case you miss any document then you have to request for clarification process. 
  7. Grant of WPC ETA certificate will be done by WPC officials if they are satisfied with all the documents and the application form you have submitted.
