What is Vajrasana?

Method of doing Vajrasana –

For Vajrasana, first, sit on the mat in a normal position. Now bend your right leg from the knees and move it backward and place it under the right buttocks. Keep the heels close to the body and the claws upwards. In this, keep the part from the knee to the toes very close to the fur.

Then bend the left leg from the knees and put it on the back and buttocks. Keep both the knees together and keep the soles apart. Now stretch both the hands and keep them on the knees and put the weight of your whole body on the heels and toes and sit.

Keep your waist, spine, head straight and straight. After coming to this position, keeping the vision on the front part of the nose, breathe normally and expand the chest. And stay in this position for 10 to 15 minutes.

Benefits of doing Vajrasana –

We do not do any other physical activity while sitting in Vajrasana, so there is no adverse effect on digestion power. After a meal, sitting in Vajrasana for only 5 minutes gives the benefit of a one-kilometer-long walk.

The reason for diabetes is the lack of proper digestion of sugar that has increased after a meal. By sitting in Vajrasana, the digestion of sugar in the food happens quickly. Therefore one should sit in Vajrasana for 20 to 30 minutes after the meal.

As soon as sitting in Vajrasana, the spine automatically remains straight, so Vajrasana is the cure to avoid back pain, cervical pain, and slip discs. You can get rid of this problem by practicing Vajrasana regularly.
